2017 Gavi Villa Broglia Vineyards
This Italian vino production is for those who enjoy a sweet, crisp white wine. It’s fruitiness side-steps traditional Italian Pinot Grigio. It has all Cortese grape from Italy’s Gavi Piedmont region. The light, fruity tastes come forwards as green apple, honey dew mellow. The nose is big floral as in Spring honeysuckle. First taste is green apple, followed by more apple, and then honey dew melon. Its crisp finish has flint and almond. The color is light straw-yellow, but skinny legs. Chill it, and then serve with meals including fish, chicken, or pork roast. Also, here’s another good summer sipping wine.
