2017 Ice Wine Augusta Winery

It was an unseasonably hot day. I saw the Augusta Ice Wine. The small, skinny bottle seemed to require less of a commitment. It was an impulse buy.

I'm not good at dessert wines. When I say it is way too sweet, maybe that is not fair to the category. I have tried Canadian Ice Wines. If that is the reference point, then this Missouri Ice Wine was almost as good.

The intensely apricot sweetness is very good after the initial shock. Nobody should have a second glass of dessert. Lick your lips and move on.
