2016 Pillastro Primitivo Cantine Due Palme Winery

Boring, and wines aren’t supposed to be boring. Here’s a hearty Italian red wine from that received good reviews from different sources. But this one didn’t light my fire. There’s an article concerning men’s health in the April 30th Wall Street Journal. The gist of the article is that, in general, men avoiding going to a doctor. Medical practitioners are shifting the focus on men’s health. Researchers contend men defer medical treatment due to “masculinity” issues. My point-of-view is that men are bored siting in waiting rooms. The reading material is mostly about health/medical stuff, or lots of Housekeeping & Decorating magazines. Our Cell help, while we wait. Then, there are always darned questioners to fill out. When we finally get to met with an MD, we are frustrated: B-O-R-I-N-G. On the other hand, I never mind going to any of my doctors. Each professional is an attractive, adult woman! My primary doctor is extremely attractive. She is always attentive, skilled with her diagnosis, conservative when writing prescriptions, and very easy to talk with. Then, I have a cardiologist who makes my blood pressure rise. She, too, is a top of the line cardiologist. She reads the charts, discusses life-style benefits, answers questions, and assures me about the quality of life. If I have a skin-care issue, I go to another experienced female doctor; she, too, is quite attractive, understands issues, and then provides solutions. Waiting for my doctors is not ever a chore. Sometimes, my wife believes I invent reasons see my doctors. I agree with the WSJ, that men need different motivation. The 2106 Pillastro Primitivo is a good red. However, drinking it for me was similar to having to get a colonoscopy. You put the procedure off as long as possible. Since it has to be done, and you hope for the best results. So, I drank it.
