2017 Rose Chateau D Aqueria Vineyard

A red Rose wine; that didn’t seem right. Isn’t a Rose is pinkish, not a light red? Well, here is an actual light red-color Rose. Dang! if hair product manufacturers would duplicate this French Rose red color, the world would have many more chic redheads showing off their redheads. Oh, about this Rose: This one was a bit confusing, as most redheads tend to be. The wine wasn’t sweet, nor was it a dry, but a clumsy in-between. Good legs hold to the glass, and it was bottled using a genuine cork. There is a floral nose: Violets First taste is raisin. Later, the mocha, prune, and granite kicked in. There is a mild non-tannin finish of almond. It is a safe choice for light-wine enthusiasts. The red Rose would match well with holiday desserts: Mince pie, ginger bread, fruit cake, snicker-doodle cheesecake, or lemon truffles. Serve chilled with warm desserts.
