2018 Estate Riesling Elk Cove Vinyard
Oregon’s Willamette valley produces very good wines. This Riesling from Yamhill-Carlton grape is one. The wine is simple, very drinkable, tasty and pleasant. A white wine that fits being casual.
Taste=2: This has the expected pear, light lemon, and apple aromas.
The pour becomes pleasingly smooth. Drink is lively, and then it’s gone
with no aftertaste.
Looks=3: The buyer gets the tall Alsace, green bottle. The twist off top
makes it even more easy. The wine, itself, poured clear, showing skinny legs.
No effervescence is present, but a nice resiling for drinking.
Cost=1: buy this Oregon wine for casual comfort.
