2015 Sauvignon Blanc Wines of Substance

Here is an interesting lable: SB. At first, I took it as a swear word, but read “Sauvignon Blanc”. It is a Washington State wine that got a 90-point rating. Tasting notes read there was “wet earth, thyme,…. with a tropical finish and seashells”. Since I’m no qualified sommelier, my notes differ: the nose is earthy with rubber. The first taste lemon which faded into mineral, and I didn’t uncover the usual apple. Its color was light yellow, and very skinny legs. This wine had a dull, lack-luster finish. My opinion is the SB label means “so-be-it”: buy it now, try it now, and forget it.
