2015 Malbec Colome Vineyard
Here’s an interesting high mountain Argentine Malbec. Colome Vineyard brought in Malbec from other wineries. In this very bottle, wines from five wineries are mixed by proportion, which could be considered a “Cuvee”. One expert gave it a very rating high score. I was not as excited as that, because after the first taste the wine dropped off. To begin, it has a full berry nose, color is rich, and there are legs. Continuing tasting/drinking, there is cocoa, slate, mineral, green tea, but its body collapse into red wine. It finished with light oaky tannin. The vineyard sealed it with a genuine cork. It is a drink or serve it now, store for awhile.
