2014 Meritage Kirkland (Costco)
Costco stores market various products under their Kirkland label. Their ’14 red wine comes form the Napa Valley, CA. It’s a Meritage of Merlot, Cab/Sauv, Cab Franc, Petite Verdot, and some Malbec. And the wine was really good. Its nose gives off a fruity cherry. The first taste is full of cherry. Trying some more gets into currents and spices. This Meritage has a smooth oak finish. Also, the color is deep ruby red with heavy legs for body. The wine comes with a composition cork. So, its drink it now, serve at dinners or enjoy casually.
