2014 Enta Rosso - Benati winery

This is a red good wine from Italy. The blend of its two varietals makes for a less heavy wine. The color is ruby red to match its light cherry nose. The first sip is surprising, because cherry is expected, but it is delivered along with a hint of slate. Even though it’s a lighter wine, Enta Rosso is no sissy. The finish has tannins, but these are not heavy as in most Chiantis. It pares well with red meat like beef or venison. Benati wine makers used a genuine cork. So, drink it or

store it for a while.
