2018 Soave Classico Pieropan Vineyards

I liked this white wine with the first pour. Its straw-hat yellow color made me peek into the glass again. It’s one of those grab it, open and “drink it now” wines…. Very user friendly & relaxing.

Sever it well chilled to find its hidden goodies. This Soave is produced by a well-established Italian vineyard, which grows grapes in an ancient volcanic area. The taste is fresh and crisp. Green apples jump on the pallet first. More sipping found almonds with a smooth minerally finish.

The winemaker used the taller Alsace green glass bottle. The twist-to-open top makes it an even easier experience. This Classico would complement cheese and poultry dishes.
