2010 Griffin Creek Grenache
I am beginning with a lighter red, Grenache, rather than a heavier Cab/Sav. This leads the read to explore another red varietal Grenache. The 2010 is darn good. And its sneaky, because you can’t stop with just one glass. When you pour your glass, you’ll find it has fine legs standing on a light red body. In tasting, you’ll discover the berry- raspberry, and then a very smooth finish. The slight sweet, berry and low tannins make you reach for the bottle again…be quick! Griffin Creek put a real, genuine cork inside its bottle. The price point is over $40 per bottle. If you want some, you’ll have to order direct. Guests will enjoy this baby, or chill one for yourself, and then chill out.
