2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Box Winery

About this 2017 Box wine Cabernet Sauvignon Part A. (Read) Part B. (Read) Part C. (Read) Part D: A regular level bottle costs around $ 25, but box wines cost even less. Existential questions are fun. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a box-wine costing under 20 bucks. Elite, library, and ordinary wine pricings fall short of those designer or cult wines ranging from $ 1,000 and upwards per bottle in cost. The average wine Joe, like me, asks, “Is that extra $ 50, $ 75 or $ 20 more I pay per bottle worth the difference of experiencing? Are elite wines that much better than a library level at $ 50 or $ 70 per bottle? Is the stretch from an everyday $ 15 bottle that noticeable? Wines are enjoyable, but is paying a lot more buying the consumer a lot more pleasure?

2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Black Box Winery The final and last price-point comparison is this Black Box cab. I got the smallest unit that holds three glasses. Finally, our pricings per bottle runs from +$100 to $9.95. This Cabernet Sav is a product of Chile, but the wine is “boxed” in California, which makes it a Chilean wine, not a California wine as the other three are. Further, the box acts as its own promoter with important disclaimers, notations, plus various awards. The company boasts of being environmentally friendly using no glass or cork. The wine: nose is earthy, dry hay. First taste has leather with some pepper. Drink more, a little berry and cherry showed up; its finish was a Tabaco tannin. Black box is drinkable, but doesn’t reach the enjoyment level of an elite or library level Cab expectation. This would be a practical wine for an outdoor picnic, a beach party where sand gets in the craziest places, or a New Orleans Mardi Gras.
